Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs
Lincoln Land Community College recognizes its responsibility to maintain an educational environment conducive to academic achievement and student development of mature and responsible adult behavior. Consequently, students, employees, and all other persons visiting or otherwise connected to the college are expected to behave responsibly as part of the academic community, including their behavior with regard to controlled substances. Students and employees shall be provided information on an annual basis about the hazards related to misuse of these substances and about available treatment resources. Involvement in the possession, use, distribution, and/or sale of illegal drugs or alcohol or the inappropriate use of tobacco products on LLCC property or at LLCC functions shall result in disciplinary action up to and including expulsion/termination and referral for prosecution.
